Week 3

We have a little more work to go to finish our Remembrance Wall- but basically we have finished our learning on Anzac. We were very impressed by how much the students have learnt and how much interest and engagement they have shown in their learning.

The students are becoming a lot more competent with their use of Google Apps- and so now we are branching out into some other tools that we can use. The students learnt last week to create a Padlet, and we will have another go at doing this, this week.

We are going to start our learning about Sustainability this week. We are going to be learning about the native flora and fauna and how and why we need to protect what we have got. If there are any parents who have any connections or knowledge that would help us in our learning please let us know.

Cross Country training is going to start this week. Could the students please make sure they bring their PE shorts and shirts so that they can start their training. The Cross Country is on the 22nd May after the  Pentecost Mass. St Michael's is going to be joining us for the Mass and then coming to the Cross Country with us. The Cross Country is held at the Redwoods. That will give some of our talented runners some new competition.
